Pastel make-up: this is how you wear the spring trend

In fashion, we wear pastel tones up and down – and luckily the trend has finally made it into our make-up bags. Or at least it will be soon. Because in spring we focus on sweet pastel shades, especially on the eyes – and yes, you can also wear them in everyday life. We reveal how.

Pastel make-up – the most beautiful spring trend

First of all: not everyone dares pastel tones on the eyes. therefore it doesn't necessarily have to be an ultra blatant, colorful look with 462420 different colors. No, that is also decent. Maybe with a colored eyeliner or just a pastel shade on the lid. You could, for example, color-match it to your outfit, so the whole look just looks harmonious and stylish.

Eyeshadows in pastel colors often have one thing in common: they are not very strong in the color delivery. Of course, this is in the nature of things, since pastel tones often have a high proportion of white. So it will take some time until you have built up the color intensity so that the colors come out really strong. Here are three tricks to get the ultimate pastel spring look:

1. Light base

A very light, almost white concealer is the perfect base for pastel shades because the color is so easy to see. You also save yourself a lot of time. It works best if you do NOT powder the concealer, because the pigment will hold much better.

2. Top it!

If a whole look with pastel colors is too much, just top your matte eyeshadow with a shimmering pastel shade. Even a pastel shade in the inside angle (whether shimmering or matt) can look really cool and upgrade your everyday look. We would wear it!

3. Monochrome

A solid color pastel look is the safest bench. Pick a color that you like and dab it on the movable lid with a shader brush. The color must be clearly visible. Then you hide the whole thing up a bit. On the lower lash line you can optionally apply the clay – but this is not a must. The "subtle" pastel look is ready.
