Concern about Patricia Kelly (51): The singer contracted the corona virus. Her team shared this on Instagram, among other things. Kelly is currently in the hospital. “We hope that she can leave it soon and that she is better.” Addressing her fans it says: “Please don’t worry too much, we are confident that Patricia will be back on her feet very soon.”
The singer had recently had an operation on her foot. Kelly’s team announced last weekthat planned concerts in Saarbrücken, Bochum, Cologne, Wiesbaden and Freiburg could therefore not take place. The acute foot surgery makes it “temporarily not possible (…) to go on stage” for the 51-year-old. The appearances were then postponed to November.
Do their concerts take place?
Patricia Kelly cannot appear at the concert on October 25th in Hanover either. It is currently unclear whether the concerts in Lübeck (October 29) and Bremen (October 31) can take place. The team also had to cancel “a major TV appearance” with a heavy heart. The first single from their new album “Unbreakable” will continue to be released this week.
Patricia Kelly was infected with the corona virus at the end of 2020. Now she has been infected again “despite the vaccination being completed”.
