Patrick Poivre d’Arvor accused of rape: Gilles Bouleau removes any ambiguity from Léa Salamé and Laurent Ruquier

For several days, the PPDA case has resurfaced with a new complaint from a victim of alleged rape. Invited on the set of We are live this Saturday, April 30, Gilles Bouleau gave his opinion on the subject, without however taking sides.

The PPDA affair continues to swell, and the alleged victims testify. Mathilde, whose real first name remains confidential, testified against the former presenter of TF1’s 8 p.m. news. She gave herself up in the Further investigation broadcast last Tuesday on France 2, and accuses PPDA of a rape which allegedly took place in February 1995 on the premises of TF1in Boulogne-Billancourt.

The alleged victim thus joins the 16 other women who testified against Patrick Poivre d’Arvor from the start of the case. To all of them, they filed a complaint for sexual violence or sexual harassment.

“I have no reason to lie or hide”

Invited this Saturday, April 30 on the set of We are live, Gilles Bouleau was personally questioned on the PPDA affair for the occasion. Being himself a presenter of the 8 p.m. news on TF1 and working for the channel for a number of years, Laurent Ruquier and Léa Salamé thought it best to ask him for his opinion.

This one did not procrastinate and answered in all transparency although he did not seem to have much to say: “Little one: I think it was a very long time ago; little two: I think the protagonists of the time are no longer there; and thirdly, so personally – me for ten years I was not there , I was there at the beginning and came back in 2011-, I think there are plenty of people who were in the editorial staff, like me, who didn’t know.he replied before insisting: “I did not know.”

The 8 p.m. presenter later explained: “I have no reason to lie or hide. I have no animosity or protection to bring to PPDA : I did not know.”
