Patrick Poivre d’Arvor case: re-examined, Claire Chazal kicks in touch

During a rare interview given to our colleagues from Télé Star on the occasion of her return to Le Grand Echiquier, Claire Chazal was asked about the Patrick Poivre d’Arvor affair. But the journalist preferred not to answer the question.

Claire Chazal has long been very close to Patrick Poivre d’Arvor. On the occasion of his return to the front of the stage with the presentation of the show The Grand Chessboardthe journalist, who shared several years of her life with PPDA, decided to grant an interview to our colleagues from Télé Poche. But the latter, questioned about the PPDA affair, decided, once again, not to answer the question.

“I do not want to respond to this subject. I expressed myself at the beginning, I no longer wish to do so”, she replied to our colleague. Loyal to her former life companion, Claire Chazal has always wanted to defend Patrick Poivre d’Arvor, since the first day when the latter was accused by several women of rape or sexual assault. At the start of the affair, she specified on France Inter that “the man they describe is not the one she knew”even if she recognized that this one “liked to seduce, convince, have a strong relationship with women”.

Claire Chazal did not want to answer a question about the PPDA affair

Right in his line of conduct, it must be said that the journalist does not have the habit of pouring out his private life. However, she made a small exception during this same interview for Télé Poche, during which she spoke of her son, François, the fruit of her relationship with Patrick Poivre d’Arvor. “I sometimes talk about ecology with him, but it’s not our main subject of conversation. François went to New Zealand, then to London, and now to Hong Kong”. Regarding the case that torments the end of life of PPDA, Claire Chazal may never comment on it again.
