Patrick Timsit presents a Ferrari to a lucky winner of a raffle organized for a good cause

Combining usefulness with research was the ambition of the Imagine Institute this year. This establishment, which aims to accelerate research on genetic diseases, has just allowed, on Saturday October 29, a certain Philippe R. to become the proud owner of a magnificent Ferrari Roma, which he bought for only 5 euros. But how is this possible? He is quite simply the big winner of the “Le Grand Prix Imagine” raffle, which aimed to collect as much money as possible in order to advance research and change the lives of families affected by these diseases.

He recovered the keys to the vehicle alongside Arnold Munnich (President of the Imagine Foundation) but above all in the company from actor Patrick Timsit, who has been very invested in this cause. “I invite people to continue to help this institute, which brings together 150 researchers permanently and 600 researchers throughout the year, in the service of genetic diseases that affect children“, said the 63-year-old actor. As a reminder, this raffle was announced on September 12 by Gad Elmaleh who officiated, as every year, as master of ceremonies for the charity gala organized by the Institute.

A good deed

An incredible competition, which therefore allowed each buyer of a 5 euro ticket on the site HelloAsso, to try his luck to win a Ferrari Roma (0km and not registered). Philippe R. is therefore the proud owner of this vehicle, which until now was exhibited from October 17 to 22 at the 2022 Paris Motor Show, on a stand offered by the Paris Motor Show at the Imagine Institute, stand 408 in pavilion 4. The sums collected thanks to this raffle have already been donated to the institute.

As a reminder, genetic diseases are the leading cause of child mortality in France. Every day in France, 64 babies are born with a genetic disease. Institute researchers and physicians Conceived mission is to understand and heal them.
