Ex-Beatle Paul McCartney (78) has knocked hit queen Helene Fischer (36) from the throne. His newly released record "McCartney III" made it straight to the top of the Official German Album Charts, determined by GfK Entertainment. The Briton is delighted with his third number one album in Germany, which he has released as a solo artist. As a member of the Beatles, he was able to land a total of eleven number one albums.
For Helene Fischer, it's not just one, but down places. Last week, as a newcomer, she was able to relegate the rockers from AC / DC to second place with their album "Power Up", but one day before Christmas she tumbled onto the bronze podium. "The Helene Fischer Show – My Most Beautiful Moments (Vol. 1)" lands in third place on the album charts behind the Australian hard rock band.
