Burglars have robbed Paul Pogba and his family of something that no money in the world can buy: a sense of security.

Last Tuesday, the French soccer star Paul Pogba (29) fought bitterly with his team Manchester United, but ultimately unsuccessfully to progress in the Champions League. Far more horrified than the elimination in the premier class, however, was something that happened at his home in the final minutes of the game. Pogba revealed on Twitterthat his family was the victim of burglars.

In his own four walls, his family’s “worst nightmare” came true, because: “Our home was broken into […]while our babies slept in their rooms.” Pogba does not write in his post which material things the burglars stole. Although the thieves were “less than five minutes” on site, his family was robbed of the most important thing. In this for a short time they took away “our feeling of safety and security”.

He suspends “reward”.

His wife was also not at home because of the game, but was in the stadium when the burglary took place. Together they then rushed to her house – “not knowing if our children are safe and unharmed.” For him as a father, there is no “worse feeling in the world than not being there to protect your children”.

The footballer therefore immediately used his post to ask for relevant information about the unknown persons. For helpful feedback in the case, he therefore offers an unspecified “reward”.
