In a few days, Deep Silver And Starbreeze will launch PAYDAY 3, a first-person shooter that will allow you to embody a team of robbers who have to carry out heists in different places in New York. A highly anticipated title, the previous installment brought together millions of players, studios want to make sure everything will work from launch.
The title was already entitled to a closed beta last month, but before the release, the developers will organize a test phase accessible to everyone, or almost. The PAYDAY 3 Open Beta will take place September 8-11, 2023, on Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam) uniquely. Players on PlayStation 5 will still have to wait before discovering the game.
The developers specify that the beta will be accessible without a key, but it will be a version dating from last April, and therefore far from representing the final result. The studios here simply want to test the servers before the release, but on the content side, there will be fun during these three days, here is what awaits the players:
- The original gang: Dallas, Hoxton, Chains and Wolf. The iconic clown-masked characters that made PAYDAY the franchise it is today are all playable, each with their own unique abilities.
- “No rest for the wicked”, a classic heist, which will ask players to steal money from a bank vault. They will have the choice between infiltrating and recovering the loot without being spotted or else making noise in order to take part in the experience of a robbery in New York City.
- All difficulty modes will be playable, the level cap will be set at Infamy level 22 and the weapon progression level will be up to 8.
If you had already participated in the closed beta, then there will be nothing new, but at least a bunch of new players will be able to test PAYDAY 3 and undermine the servers so that everything runs correctly on September 21, the game’s release date on PC, Xbox Series X | S and PS5.
