Payday 3 is already making players angry, a future disaster?

Payday 3 is currently being targeted by its fans because of a studio decision that just doesn’t go over well. Even before its release, the game revives old debates.

Payday 3 is one of the most anticipated games of the moment and for good reason, it is still the sequel to one of the biggest Steam successes of recent years. However, the project has come a long way, very far even since the studio almost closed shop on several occasions. However, things seem to have settled this time and everything is running smoothly for the license, or almost.

Payday 3 is already being debated even before its release

Whether Payday 3 knows how to raise the temperature, that does not prevent it from having caused a lot of spillage lately because of a decision by the studio which was highly criticized by the fans. During a recent stream, one of the representatives of the Starbreeze studio, Almir Listo, brought some very bad news that could be seen coming for miles: Payday 3 requires a mandatory login.

What could be more normal for a multiplayer game will you tell me? Well, you should know that the previous games did not have this obligation and it seems that the players do not like it at all. Just as many people were angry with Star Wars Jedi Survivor or Diablo 4, even if the latter is placed as a kind of MMO.

Yes, mandatory login is a problem, even in Payday 3. Almir Listo justifies this decision by the fact that the game will support crossplay and above all, crossplatform progression. Which means that you will have a unique account, no matter what platform you play on. Here, on the other hand, it is very good news.
Payday 3 should soon show more, certainly at Gamescom, especially since the game is scheduled for September 21. It doesn’t seem like that, but it happens quickly.
