PAYDAY is casually a strong franchise, plunging players into co-op heists. Two games are already available and a third part should arrive in the course of the year 2023. But Starbreeze has other plans for its license and wants to adapt it on the small or the big screen.
In its latest financial report, Starbreeze has indeed announced a partnership with the production company Stockholm Syndrome to adapt PAYDAY in film or TV series. THE CEO Greg Lipstone cites the success of the series The Last of Us (HBO) And The Witcher (netflix), evoking “the perfect timing for a live-action adaptation of the Payday universe”.
heist games Starbreeze were already inspired by cinematographic works, such as the excellent Heat of Michael Mann, the will to adapt the PAYDAY in film or series has something to delight fans.
