(CercleFinance.com) – The American specialist in electronic payments PayPal Holdings announced on Monday the appointment of Alex Chriss, a senior executive of the accounting and tax software publisher Intuit, as managing director.
In a press release, PayPal indicates that Alex Chriss, who will take office at the end of September, will also join the board of directors of the Californian group.
The San José-based company points out that this recruitment completes an exhaustive search process carried out over the past few months.
Alex Chriss, who until now headed the Intuit division dedicated to SMEs, has increased the turnover of the branch by an average of 23% per year over the past five years.
In 2021, he had overseen, for Intuit, the acquisition of the e-mail and marketing automation platform Mailchimp for an amount of 12 billion dollars.
