PayPal: save real money with the returns trick

Do you have Paypal? Then you will surely process many online orders with the payment service. But do you already know the practical returns function?

Are you a real online shopper? And sometimes you would like to order items in certain shops, but then you don't because they don't offer free returns? Then we have a clever trick for you here. If you are a PayPal customer, you can get a refund of up to 25 euros return postage up to twelve times a year. In a nutshell … yes, that's a lot of money! Are you tipping over backwards? We are too, because hardly anyone knows how the payment service works. The prerequisite for the use is of course that you have a PayPal account – if not, it can be done quickly.

And that is how it works

To get money back from PayPal, you just have to follow three steps:

Step 1: Activate the function here online with PayPal.

Step 2: Send your package back and keep the return label.

Step 3: On the PayPal page under "Activities", select the payment for the item in question and request a refund of the postage.

The money should then be credited to you within a few days.

When is there no money?

However, there are a few restrictions on the service. You don't get any money …

  • for purchases that have not been fully paid for with PayPal.
  • for purchases that violate the PayPal Terms of Service.
  • for digital goods and vouchers.
  • for products for which the return postage has already been paid by the retailer.
  • for products that, according to the dealer, cannot be returned (e.g. after the return period has expired).
  • for reimbursement of costs incurred as a result of loss, theft or damage to returns.
  • if the refund is not requested from PayPal within 30 days of the return shipment.
  • for purchases that are more than 150 days old.

And, have you got an idea, which online shop are you looting now?
