PCAS: turnover up 9.6% over nine months – 11/04/2022 at 12:34


(CercleFinance.com) – PCAS, a producer of complex molecules for the life sciences and technology sectors, reported yesterday evening a turnover up 9.6% over the first nine months of exercise.

As of September 30, its consolidated turnover stood at 156.1 million euros, compared to 142.4 million over the same period of 2021.

At constant exchange rates, growth was 7.1%.

In its press release, the company underlines that its turnover in fine specialty chemicals increased by 25.4% compared to 2021 (+21.4% at constant exchange rate) to reach 61.8 million euros. euros, under the effect of continued strong demand in electronics and cosmetics.

PCAS nevertheless warns that its 2022 results will remain ‘very loss-making’ due to a level of activity still insufficient to cover the fixed costs of its sites and the depreciation of stocks due to non-compliant products.

The group nevertheless says it is “fully mobilized” for a return to positive results in 2023, which allowed it to win 6.4% on the Paris Stock Exchange this Friday.
