Two spin-off series for Peaky Blinders!
Indeed, Bloomberg tells us that Netflix is developing two Peaky Blinders spin-offs. According to their information, one of the spin-off series would take place in Boston in the mid-20th century, a few decades after the original series.
It remains to be seen if the entire original cast will return to reprise their roles as Cillian Murphy (Thomas Shelby), Paul Anderson (Arthur Shelby), Sophie Rundle (Ada Thorne), Natasha O’Keeffe (Lizzie Shelby), Finn Cole (Michael Gray), Harry Kirton (Finn Shelby), Aimee-Ffion Edwards (Esme Shelby), Kate Phillips (Linda Shelby) and Anya Taylor-Joy (Gina Gray).
The other spin-off would center on Polly Gray, the matriarch of the Shelby clan, who was played by the late Helen McCrory, who died in 2021. We can therefore assume that it would be a prequel about the youth of this character adored by fans.
For the moment, no other information has been revealed on these two spin-off series projects and we do not know if the announced film is still in the pipeline or if these two spin-offs will replace the feature film.
