Peaky Blinders on Netflix: when will season 6 be released?

Highly anticipated by fans, the sixth and final season of Peaky Blinders finally has a release date on Netflix! Tommy Shelby and his family are back soon.

Currently being broadcast in the UK on the BBC, the sixth and final season of Peaky Blinders is long overdue in France. Fans will have to wait a little longer since Netflix revealed, via a press release on its 2022 programming and then on Twitter, that the final episodes of the British series would arrive on June 10.

The final season of Peaky Blinders promises an explosive ending for the Shelby family, which will be “in extreme danger” according to showrunner Steven Knight. The series creator explained that “The stakes have never been higher” and think it will be “the best season of all”.

For these long-awaited new episodes, in which Tommy Shelby will face his old demons while the Great Depression is in full swing and the fascists are gaining ground, we obviously find his interpreter Cillian Murphy but also Paul Anderson, Sophie Rundle, Finn Cole , Anya Taylor-Joy, Brian Gleeson, Neil Maskell, Sam Claflin and Tom Hardy, back as Alfie Solomons.

New faces have joined the cast of this final batch: Conrad Khan (The Hunter and the Ice Queen, Black Mirror), and Amber Anderson, seen recently in the film Emma. In addition, this sixth season will pay tribute to the late Helen McCrory, the interpreter of Polly Gray, who died on April 16, 2021 from cancer.
