If we think of pearls, we often think of long afternoons that we spent with our noses all the way deep in grandma's jewelry boxes. We liked to rummage in it and then happily put the shimmering white chains around our necks to be able to play fine lady for the next few hours. For a long time, pearls were considered bourgeois and were more of a favorite accessory of the elderly theater-goers. 2020 will be the end, however, because Perlen is making a big comeback on the fashion stage – in a new, super cool look!

Go big or go home – something like that sounds like this summer's motto for pearls. Because the motto of the jewelry designers is: The bigger, the better. And we are only too happy to follow the trend. We prefer to wear XXL baroque pearls in combination with chunky creoles, large link chains, with lots of gold details such as platelets or coins as well as artistically set in gold-plated shells or wafer-thin gold wire.
But not only the oversized pearl has taken our hearts by storm, the XS version has also earned its place in our jewelry box. Strung together as a cool choker or in the company of colorful "children's pearls" as bracelets, they will become real feel-good jewelry this summer.
Pearl jewelry has definitely removed its thick layer of dust and has rightly become the favorite of the stars and influencers who are guaranteed not to leave the house this summer without their new favorite jewelry.
