A new project for Archewell Productions: Duchess Meghan is working on an animated family series for Netflix.

In addition to the documentary series “Heart of Invictus”, Archewell Productions by Prince Harry (36) and Duchess Meghan (39) is now also working on another series for the streaming service Netflix. This is reported, among other things, by the industry magazine “Variety”. It is therefore an animated series with the working title “Pearl”.

Duchess Meghan will not only be the creator of the family series, but will also work as an executive producer – together with David Furnish (58), Carolyn Soper, Liz Garbus (51), Dan Cogan and Amanda Rynda, who also appears as a showrunner.

What “Pearl” should be about

The production is described as “a family series centered around the adventures of a twelve-year-old girl who is inspired by a host of influential women from history.” Duchess Meghan explains in a statement: “Like many girls her age, our heroine Pearl is on a journey of self-discovery while she tries to master the daily challenges of life.”

Film producer Furnish, also known as the spouse of megastar Elton John (74), is also delighted with the project, with which, according to a statement, he and Duchess Meghan “bring the inspiring and positive stories of extraordinary women around the world to a global audience of all ages “want to bring closer.
