Pearl Jam: Band announces dates for German concerts

Pearl Jam should come back to Germany this summer. Now the band has released replacement dates.

In the summer of 2020 Pearl Jam ("Even Flow") wanted to go on a major European tour. Because of the corona pandemic, however, nothing came of it. Now the US band, which is one of the most influential grunge groups alongside Nirvana, has announced firm alternative dates.

Pearl Jam will come to Berlin on June 23, 2021 and Frankfurt on July 16, 2021, according to its official website. Replacement dates were also found for the other stops on her upcoming European tour, which will take her to Amsterdam, Imola, Zurich, Stockholm and Copenhagen, among others. Pearl Jam will also be playing two more concerts that were not previously scheduled – at the Pinkpop Festival in the Netherlands and in Prague.

Security still comes first

"We look forward to returning to Europe," says the homepage. At the same time, however, you reserve the right to cancel the concerts if the conditions have not improved by summer 2021. "The safety and well-being of the fans, crew and staff at the events remain a top priority."

Pearl Jam had already announced in April that the tour would be postponed to June and July 2021. At that time, however, the band could not give exact dates.
