ATnne Hidalgo, Valérie Pécresse and Marine Le Pen, to name but a few, are they victims of a form of misogyny? Even if this should not hide strategic errors or intrinsic communication, the attentive study of this presidential campaign allows us to believe it. We deliberately speak of a form of misogyny, which is not the classic, frontal and sometimes assumed misogyny (“But who is going to look after the children?”, “Barbie plays politics”, “The Presidency of the Republic n is not a beauty contest”). It is of another nature, it can be seen in the recurrence of comments on their abilities and in the judgments, sometimes disproportionate or unbalanced, that these candidates arouse when, often, not so much is asked of the candidates.
