Pegasus: the Israeli company NSO Group loses a new leader

NSO Group never stops paying the consequences of the scandal in which its Pegasus spyware is involved. Since the revelations of the international press last year, the Israeli company has had to face a wave of departures within its workforce. The latest is that of its executive director, Asher Levy, who has been in office since 2020.

Last November, Isaac Benbenisti, vice president of the company, was promoted to CEO, but he left NSO Group only two weeks later. In this delicate climate, Shalev Hulio, the company’s founder, had taken up the torch at the head of NSO. The problems are piling up for the publisher of Pegasus, which has been the subject of an Israeli judicial investigation since last week concerning the use of its spyware by the Israeli police.
