Pension reform: an LR deputy signed the LIOT group’s referendum motion

NEWS THE FIGARO The elected LR of the Territory of Belfort Ian Boucard is one of the signatories of this referendum motion, which should be tabled tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the office of the National Assembly by the president of the LIOT group.

While the government is still taking a step closer to Les Républicains today, some right-wing parliamentarians are positioning themselves more than ever in opposition to pension reform. This is the case of the LR deputy for the Territoire de Belfort Ian Boucard, who announced very early on that he would vote against the postponement of the legal retirement age to 64. This Sunday, the chosen one goes even further: he announces to the Figaro that he is one of the signatories of the referendum motion that the group Libertés, Indépendants, Outre-mer et Territoires (LIOT) intends to table. A motion which aims to impose a referendum on the government on the subject of pensions and to put an end to the executive bill before it is even examined.

“I would not have signed that of the RN or communists, but that of LIOT seems to me to be the most depoliticized”, believes Ian Boucard, who nevertheless wonders about the chances of this motion being considered. Because this one, which should according to our information…
