Pension reform: New call for strike at EDF for February 6, 7 and 8

PARIS (Reuters) – A new call for a strike at EDF and other companies in the electricity and gas industries in France has been launched for February 6, 7 and 8, Fabrice Coudour, national secretary at the FNME-CGT, said on Tuesday. (National Federation of Mines and Energy-CGT).

The CGT and Sud-Rail have already called on railway workers for two days of walkout on February 7 and 8 against the government’s plan to reform pensions. A call for a renewable strike was also filed for February 6 in the refineries.
