This Saturday, the National Rally is launching a major militant operation against pension reform, by strengthening its presence in medium-sized towns. The stated objective of the flame party: to remind that the Nupes coalition is not the only opposition to the government, despite greater influence in the metropolises.
On the ground, the National Rally is persona non grata in the processions of the big cities. New tactic, the RN then refers to medium-sized towns, where its electorate is the most important. In a letter sent yesterday to his troops, Jordan Bardella warns: “the mobilization of all is essential”, writes the president of the party.
On the eve of a new day of mobilization in the street, where the unions and elected representatives of the left will be present in particular, the National Rally (RN) is launching a kind of counter-offensive and intends to establish its presence in the spaces of protests against the pension reform. The members of the flame party have therefore planned to wander the streets to tow and stick up posters. The Nupes coalition monopolized at this stage a large part of the debates in the hemicycle with nearly 18,000 amendments tabled in the Assembly.

And among the actions launched this weekend are planned meetings, as in Nîmes on Sunday, where the four RN deputies from the department will be present. Yoann Gillet, MP for Gard, will be there: “It’s a way for those who wish to mobilize differently. Our voters are very mobilized against this reform which is unfair both in the demonstrations, because that some also go there. But also because he preaches the good word by convincing those around them. And then also coming to our public meetings. And there, I am convinced that we will have a lot of people on Sunday. “
The party thus intends to capitalize on the unpopularity of the bill in public opinion, as summarized by a deputy: “We were elected to defeat this reform”.
