Bill Mockridge and Hartmut Volle will soon be back in the “Retiree Cops”. In twelve new episodes they take up the investigation again.

Bill Mockridge (75) and Hartmut Volle (69) can be seen again in the “Retiree Cops” on February 15, 2023. The broadcaster announced this in a statement. In twelve new episodes, the two actors once again slip into the roles of Reinhard Bielefelder and Klaus Schmitz.

The “pensioner cops” score with their experience

The retired detective inspectors are tested for their physical and mental fitness, since the station did poorly in a statistical evaluation. Even if they may not be among the sportiest of officers, nobody can beat them when it comes to experience and criminal instincts. Other roles include Michael Volle (62), Katja Danowski (48), Aaron Le (40) and Dela Dabulamanzi (42).

The new season of “Rentnercops” was shot from July to early December 2022 in Cologne, Pulheim, Monheim and the surrounding area. The episodes will be broadcast every Wednesday at 6:50 p.m. on the first channel from February 15, 2023.
