PARIS (Reuters) – About 1.28 million people took part in the sixth day of mobilization in France on Tuesday against the government’s plan to reform pensions, including 81,000 in Paris, according to estimates reported by the Ministry of the Interior and the Paris police headquarters.

The CGT for its part reported 3.5 million demonstrators in France, including 700,000 in Paris, reported BFM TV.

In comparison, during act 2 of the mobilization, on January 31, the Ministry of the Interior had counted 1.27 million demonstrators in the country, including 87,000 in the capital, a participation which had been hitherto record since. the beginning of the protest movement. The unions had evoked a historic mobilization with two million people in the streets across the country.
