Pensions: Liot deputies table a “transpartisan” motion of censure

PARIS, March 17 (Reuters) – The group of centrist deputies Libertés Indépendants Outre-mer et Territoires (Liot) tabled a motion of censure on Friday targeting the government of Elisabeth Borne after its decision to resort to article 49.3 of the Constitution to have the pension reform project adopted without a vote.

The motion garnered 91 signatories from five political groups, he told Reuters.

No Republican (LR) deputy signed the motion of censure, added the Liot group. (Report Elizabeth Pineau, written by Matthieu Protard and Blandine Hénault, edited by Jean-Stéphane Brosse)
