PARIS (Reuters) – The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC) on Friday asked airlines to reduce their flight schedule for the day on Monday at Paris Orly and Marseille-Provence airports due to a notice of strike filed as part of the challenge to the pension reform.

“The DGAC has asked airlines to reduce their flight schedule by 30% at Paris-Orly airport and by 20% at Marseille-Provence airport,” the DGAC said in a statement.

“Despite these preventative measures, disruptions and delays are nonetheless to be expected,” she added.

This decision comes as several trade union organizations have filed a national interprofessional strike notice in the entire public service and the private sector for March 20.
