Ihe Minister of Labor, Olivier Dussopt, refuted on Sunday any form of “contempt” of the government in the express promulgation of the pension reform, in response to the remarks the day before of the leader of the CFDT Laurent Berger.

“There is no contempt, on the contrary, there is a desire to work with all […]there is the desire that everyone be respected in their skills, ”explained Olivier Dussopt on Sunday, interviewed at the Grand Rendez-vous d’Europe 1 / CNews.

He thus responded to the accusations the day before from Laurent Berger, who in the columns of Parisian was irritated by the “contempt shown to the workers”, which “will have been constant”.

Resuming dialogue with social partners

“We did what was necessary, what was necessary,” added the Minister of Labour. “There is no brutality in the fact of applying the law, the text is promulgated, there is no provocation. »

He also called ” [s]I hope, like the President of the Republic, like the Prime Minister, that the dialogue with the social partners can resume”.

The unpopular pension reform, with its flagship measure of lowering the retirement age to 64, was promulgated overnight from Friday to Saturday in the Official Journal, after the validation of most of the text by the Constitutional Council .
