The pension reform is far from making everyone agree. The lengthening of the duration of working time nevertheless delights liberal economists.

VS’was expected. The pension reform, defended tooth and nail by the government, never ceases to upset the unions and a large majority of public opinion. He is accused of being both “antisocial” and “unjust”. A strong national mobilization is also expected this Thursday throughout France, at the call of the unions.
In the midst of this din, some economists – rather liberal – find good in the measures defended by Élisabeth Borne, such as the postponement of the legal retirement age, from 62 to 64, or even the acceleration of the timetable for the reform Touraine, planning to extend the contribution period to 43 years for a full pension (from 2027, instead of 2035). Not so much because they consider that these provisions will definitely save…
