Kendall Jenner, one of the famous daughters of the Kardashian family, was forced to explain the choice of a dress she wore for the wedding of a friend influencer, Lauren Perez, last November, following to a controversy. A wedding photo posted on Instagram on December 31 by the latter shows the Californian supermodel wearing a very revealing outfit from the Mônot brand. After an anthology of disapproving comments under the photo in question, the star finally justified herself, reports People. The dress in question did not seem “appropriate” for this type of celebration, especially since Kendall Jenner was a bridesmaid, according to many Internet users.
“I obviously asked for his approval in advance”
She wasn’t the only one. All of the bridesmaids first wore sky blue satin dresses before they were able to change into their party attire for the reception. That’s when the snaps, which also feature stars Bella Hadid and Hailey Bieber, were taken.
“@Kendalljenner I’m ashamed for you # embarrassing,” says a subscriber under the Instagram post. Others suggest that this outfit draws attention to Kendall instead of the bride. The 26-year-old model was keen to justify herself then by posting under the photo that she had “obviously requested in advance” the approval of her friend to wear this dress. Lauren Perez also assured that she had “adored” her and that Kendall was “beautiful”. Comments have since been disabled.
