Devolver Digital and indie studio Ahr Ech team up to unveil the action game pepper grinder. The title scheduled for 2023 will be available on PC and Nintendo Switch.
Here we follow young Pepper, a real sea wolf and certified treasure hunter. Shipwrecked, she is robbed of her treasure by the infamous creatures that are the Narlings. To try to recover what was stolen from her, Pepper will have to play the drill. Exploration will take place both on land and at sea, and Pepper does not intend to do anything in the lace. In addition to controlling the machines, she intends to pulverize all the enemies who stand between her and her precious lost treasure. And why not, also touch interest. But many obstacles will stand in the way of our little treasure hunter, including mysterious emanations from the darkness.
Pepper Grinder’s universe promises to be very colorful and dynamic, in particular thanks to very fluid movements. The drilling mechanics, which will be very important in Pepper’s movements, can be improved over the course of her adventure. It will indeed be possible to find new forests to sow chaos or even to buy something to improve the little heroine thanks to the jewels collected during her journey.
