Percy Jackson – The Series: Season 2 of the Disney+ series is officially confirmed – that’s what we know so far

“Percy Jackson: The Series” has already attracted considerable viewership with its first episodes. The Disney+ production recorded 13.3 million views worldwide in the first six days after its premiere on December 20, 2023, making it the most successful Disney+ series premiere.

On January 31, 2024 you will see the grand finale of “Percy Jackson”, and around a week later the Disney+ series has now been officially extended. It is also clear that season 2 will adapt the story of the second Percy Jackson novel by Rick Riordan: “Percy Jackson: The Spell of the Cyclops”.

Percy Jackson Season 2: Plot

Season 2 of “Percy Jackson” covers the second volume of the book series by Rick Riordan. In “Percy Jackson: The Spell of the Cyclops,” Grover is captured while searching for Pan, the god of the wild. His captor is Polyphemus, a cyclops. Of course, Percy and Annabeth go looking for their friend. Also included is Percy’s half-brother Tyson, who is not only a son of Poseidon but also half-Cyclops.

Hermes and his son Luke also play an important role in this adventure.

Percy Jackson Season 2: Cast

In Season 2 we will see Walker Scobell as Percy Jackson, Leah Jeffries as Annabeth Chase and Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood. With Luke reappearing in Percy Jackson: The Spell of the Cyclops, we can also expect a return from Charlie Bushnell.

Toby Stephens has already shown interest in returning as Poseidon, so we could see him once again as Percy’s father and god of the seas. A reunion with Lin-Manuel Miranda as the god Hermes is also possible.
