If you want to buy a high-quality new e-bike this year, you currently have a few options: Aldi offers a trekking e-bike with decent performance and a long range, Lidl has a powerful e-mountain bike on offer and something else besides an interesting city e-bike.
The Fischer Cita 8.0i offers a mid-engine with an output of 50 Newton meters. This is decent and is sufficient even in mountainous regions as long as the climbs are not too steep. A highlight is the large battery with a capacity of 705 watt hours. It should enable a range of up to 170 kilometers.
Disc brakes and 10-speed gears
The 28-inch bike also offers a lighting system, luggage rack, a suspension fork and a 10-speed derailleur. The disc brakes work hydraulically and ensure good braking power, the saddle suspension provides additional comfort.
The city e-bike weighs 27 kilograms and the permissible total weight is 150 kilograms. Thanks to the pushing aid, it can be easily moved even when heavily loaded. The bike is available with a frame height of 43 or 50 centimeters.
