If you want to buy a high-quality new e-bike this year, it’s worth taking a look at the discounters. Lidl, for example, currently has a very good offer for a city e-bike from Fischer.
The “Cita 8.0i” offers a mid-engine with an output of 50 Newton meters. That’s decent and is enough for smooth and comfortable driving even in mountainous regions, as long as the climbs aren’t extremely steep. A highlight is the large battery with a capacity of 705 watt hours. It should enable a range of up to 170 kilometers.
Hydraulic disc brakes, 10-speed gearshift
The other features are also impressive. The 28-inch bike offers a lighting system, luggage rack, a suspension fork and a 10-speed derailleur. The disc brakes work hydraulically and thus ensure good braking power. The saddle suspension also provides additional comfort.
The city e-bike weighs 27 kilograms and the permissible total weight is 150 kilograms. Thanks to the push assist, it is easy to move even when heavily loaded. The bike is available with a frame height of 43 or 50 centimeters.
