Since they will not be the most efficient of the graphics cardsthe Intel Arcs have an interest in being efficient.

While we’ve been waiting for them for months – or no longer waiting for them at all – the Arc A750 and A770 cards should be marketed on October 12 and Intel is working hard to convince.

If it has never been stingy with slideshows, comments and other technical details since the launch of its marketing campaign around Arc GPUs, Intel seems to have taken the measure of the disappointment of users.

In recent weeks, it no longer insists on the performance of its GPUs and puts more emphasis on the performance per dollar ratio, a way of evoking the profitable side of its GPUs.

While the NVIDIA Ada Lovelace and AMD RDNA 3 generations are about to arrive, Intel has no choice but to play the price card to make room for itself.

The best price/performance ratio?

First, Intel confirms differences of 60 dollars between families of graphics cards with an Arc A750 billed at 289 dollars while the A770 Limited Edition 8 GB is at 329 dollars. Finally, the Arc A770 Limited Edition 16GB is only $20 more expensive, at $349.

If these prices are confirmed at resellers, the A770 16 GB would indeed be less expensive than a GeForce RTX 3060 ($380) but more expensive than the Radeon RX 6650 XT ($330). To finish convincing us, Intel highlights the fact that its cards offer higher performance per dollar than the GeForces.

Keep in mind, however, that Intel has undoubtedly retained data that is favorable to it and does not mention the super-sampling solutions that are DLSS or XeSS. All this will be verified when the first independent tests are published.
