(AOF) – Pernod Ricard joins the WBCSD (World Business Council for Sustainable Development), which brings together large international groups working together to limit the impacts of the climate crisis, restore natural spaces and fight against inequalities, with the objective of building, by 2050, a world where nine billion people can live with dignity, without overexploitation of the planet’s resources.
Pernod Ricard’s mission is to promote sustainable and responsible conviviality. Founded on four pillars (preserving our terroirs; valuing people; acting circular; being responsible), the group’s CSR 2030 roadmap, entitled “Preserve to share”, covers all aspects of the company’s activity and is designed to directly contribute to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
With its membership of the WBCSD, Pernod Ricard joins One Planet Business for Biodiversity, an intersectoral group of international companies whose mission is to act in favor of biodiversity, in particular by promoting regenerative agriculture.
