(CercleFinance.com) – Oddo BHF maintains its ‘outperform’ opinion and its price target of 198 euros on Pernod Ricard, the day after the announcement of the sale by the French group of its Becherovka liqueur brand to the Polish group Maspex.
‘While this sale should not have any consequences in operational and financial terms, it nevertheless shows the group’s voluntarism in the management of its portfolio which it always seeks to refine,’ comments the analyst.
On this occasion, Oddo BHF believes that the valuation level of Pernod Ricard is at a low point, and ‘constitutes an attractive entry point into a quality stock at a time when the momentum should reverse in favor of the group’ .
