Pernod Ricard takes a majority stake in the rosé “Château Sainte Marguerite” – 03/01/2022 at 18:14

(AOF) – Pernod Ricard and the Fayard family have announced the signing of an agreement for Pernod Ricard to take a majority stake in Château Sainte Marguerite, a Côtes-de-Provence Classified Growth since 1955. “Ownership of the Fayard family since 1977, Château Sainte Marguerite has established itself as a reference within the Côtes-de-Provence appellation with its Super Premium and Ultra Premium cuvées”, explains the wine and spirits group. It will complement Pernod Ricard’s luxury portfolio offering alongside Mumm and Perrier-Jouët champagnes.

Château Sainte Marguerite will continue its activities with its current teams, under the direction of Olivier Fayard. Cyril Claquin, Deputy Managing Director, will ensure the brand’s integration and strategy within Pernod Ricard’s international network.

The completion of the operation should take place in the coming months.
