In a bloody act in Vienna-Brigittenau, a restaurateur in the Winarsky-Hof in an apartment on Stiege 17 seriously injured his ex-partner with a gun on Thursday evening. The alleged perpetrator is believed to have shot the woman in the head and foot – the victim succumbed to his injuries a few hours after the attack.
Motive still unclear
The shooter was arrested, but could not be questioned due to his “physical condition” because he had lost consciousness during the police operation. He ended up in the hospital. “The scenes look ghostly”
The crime scene group of the Vienna police secured traces in the dark. “The scenes look spooky, everything feels so unreal,” said a witness at the “Krone” local inspection in Winarsky-Hof. The murder weapon was secured. The investigation into the drama is in full swing.
