Around one month after the announcement of their separation, Peter (42) and Autumn (41) Phillips attended an event together. At the horse race in Gloucestershire, the first grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II (93) appeared detached from his wife's side, as the British tabloid "The Sun" reports. The two laughed together and cheered the participants.
United front because of the children
The two want to maintain a friendly basis because of their common daughters Savannah (born 2010) and Isla (born 2012). In an official statement on the breakup, British media reports said: "Both Peter and Autumn have stayed in Gloucestershire, where they have been living for several years to raise their two children." The marriage lasted almost twelve years.
Peter Phillips is the son of Princess Anne (69), the Queen's only daughter, and professional rider Mark Phillips (71). Their marriage lasted from 1973 to 1992. The ex-couple also has a daughter, Zara Phillips (38).
