Peugeot Inception: see you at CES in Las Vegas!

If the 2022 Paris Motor Show was unfortunately not the expected high mass, other events are now entering the calendar of manufacturers, such as the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, and that ultimately has nothing surprising as the cars are now loaded with technology. Peugeot will therefore take advantage of the largest show dedicated to tech to lift the veil on its future Inception concept.

The Inception marks the beginning of a new beginning, since it prefigures for the manufacturer a new design direction for vehicles, designed from the outset as electric cars. We can also hope for a concept based on the new Stellantis STLA platform. Nevertheless, if for the moment no technical element has filtered, Peugeot has published a video teaser which suggests some style elements.

Thus, we can guess a luminous grille, the use of apparently recycled materials, and above all a signature LED headlight with the tiger claw. Besides, it could be that future Peugeots sport a front end not so far from the 9X8 racing car.

In the same way, the interior layout of the i-Cockpit should be reviewed, with in particular an evolution of the interface, or in any case of its design. The interior space should also evolve, with better habitability. Matthias Hossan, Design Director, said recently: “We are developing a concept, but also a new way of working. We are looking to offer more interior space for the same footprint“.

Still a little patience, the Peugeot Inception will be unveiled at CES in Las Vegas on January 5.
