(CercleFinance.com) – Louis Dreyfus Armateurs (LDA) and its partners, the Roullier group and Peugeot Invest, announce that they have reached an agreement with institutional investors and the shipowner MUR Shipping for the sale of a fleet of 13 Handysize bulk carriers and Supramax.
In 2013, Peugeot Invest joined forces with LDA as part of a joint venture for the construction and operation of five fuel-efficient Handysize bulk carriers, most of which were delivered during the second half of 2015.
After nine years of partnership with LDA, the market conditions were met to sell these vessels to new owners. They will be gradually delivered to their future owners in the coming weeks.
