Wedged between a more accessible Renault Scenic E-Tech, while being generally more successful, and a Tesla Model Y available at the same price, but larger and much more accomplished, the Peugeot e-3008 had few arguments to assert.

Only one finish is eligible for the ecological bonus
Good news, Peugeot has managed to keep the price of its e-3008 Long Range below €47,000 excluding options, beyond which it would have lost its eligibility for the ecological bonus currently at €4,000, but the amount of which should decline in 2025.
Thus, the e-3008 Long Range starts at €46,990 excluding bonuses in the Allure finish, which is already relatively well equipped. Its GT finish, however, increases its price to €51,490 and therefore makes the e-3008 ineligible for the ecological bonus.
For the e-5008, which is larger and has seven seats, the prices for this Long Range version automatically exceed the bonus eligibility threshold. The electric SUV is therefore priced at €51,490 in Allure finish or €55,990 in GT finish.
By way of comparison, the Renault Scenic E-Tech also costs €46,990 excluding bonuses for its long-range version, which offers a range of up to 625 km. The Scenic is nevertheless eligible for the ecological bonus regardless of the finish chosen, since Renault presents them as options and not as real finishing levels.
As for the Tesla Model Y, the maximum range of the American SUV does not exceed 600 km with its High Autonomy Propulsion version, also priced at €46,990 excluding bonuses. However, it retains many arguments, such as better performance than French SUVs, a more spacious interior and trunk volume than the e-3008 and the Scenic, much better standard equipment, or even faster charging times. . Ultimately, the Model Y undoubtedly remains the best ally for going on vacation in the electric SUV category. The e-5008 certainly retains the advantage of offering seven seats, but it is rumored that such a configuration could be launched in the Model Y catalog in Europe.
