(CercleFinance.com) – The Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) on Thursday recommended Pfizer and BionTech’s Covid-19 vaccine as a booster for coronavirus immunization in children aged five to 11 .
The European Medicines Agency (EMA) issued last year to the Comirnaty an extension of indication to the conditional marketing authorization in children aged five to 11 years.
Pfizer shares were up 1.8% on the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday morning after the announcement.
