(CercleFinance.com) – Pfizer and Sangamo Therapeutics have announced the reopening of recruitment for the AFFINE phase 3 study evaluating giroctocogene fitelparvovec, an experimental gene therapy for patients with moderately severe to severe hemophilia A.
Trial sites will begin to resume recruitment this month, with dosing expected to resume in October.
All trial sites are expected to be active by the end of 2022 and results from the pivotal study are expected in the first half of 2024.
