Phantom Breaker lands in the West


2D fighting game, Phantom Breaker: Omnia is announced for March 15, 2022. Developed by Mages and published by Rocket Panda Games, it will be released on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch.

Billed as a huge update to Phantom Breaker: Extra, this new installment of the anime-style fighting game will feature all the characters already available in the previous version. Added to this are two new characters specially designed for this edition and two guest characters, Kurisu Makise from Steins;Gate and Rimi Sakihata from Chaos;Head. You will have the possibility to choose between 3 different fighting styles. They will respectively influence the speed, the power or the mechanics of your fighters.

Other novelties, a rebalanced combat system which should allow more fluidity in the combos and a completely redone and remixed soundtrack for each of the 20 characters are announced. Finally, and this is a great first in the Phamtom Breaker saga, all the characters will be dubbed in English.
