(Boursier.com) — The Extraordinary General Meeting of Pharmagest Interactive met on Friday May 6, 2022 at 5 p.m. at the company’s registered office. It approved the resolutions proposed by the Board of Directors, including in particular the change of the company’s corporate name.

As already announced, the company changes its name and becomes Equasens.

This new identity enshrines the interoperability of the solutions offered between patients and healthcare professionals and establishments and strengthens the group’s positioning around its “Patient-Centred” strategy initiated more than 10 years ago. EQUA refers to equation, the scientific roots of the Group, to technology, while SENS echoes the meaning of its mission and gives perspective to the work of the company: to provide the right information, to the right caregiver, at the right time for the right patient.

This new name is intended to be in harmony with the Group’s ‘baseline’: ‘More technology for more people’

“The transition from Pharmagest to Equasens allows the Group’s identity to be better reflected in the diversity of its activities and the new markets it addresses. We are no longer just a software publisher for the pharmacy. The group is now the leader healthcare IT solutions in Europe. For more than 10 years now, we have gone beyond the sphere of pharmacy and we equip all healthcare professionals in France and tomorrow in Europe with IT solutions. The new name and its new visual identity embody the dynamic in which the Group has resolutely entered: that of a multi-business group in Health which implements its mission of permanent analysis of the evolutions of the trades, anticipation, and development of solutions in Health with high added value and ever more interoperable”, declares Thierry Chapusot, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Equasens Group.

The Equasens Annual General Meeting will be held on June 28. The group recalls that on this occasion it will propose to shareholders the payment of a dividend of 1.05 euros per share for the 2021 financial year.
This Meeting will be held at the Head Office, in Villers-lès-Nancy.
