With the acquisition of four new pharmacies in Belgium, Pharmasimple is accelerating its strategy of shifting towards offline commerce. A transformation plan which aims, within five years, to create a group comprising 200 pharmacies.

Pharmasimple, a group specializing in the online sale of parapharmaceutical products, is continuing to change its commercial strategy. To accelerate in offline commerce, the group announces that it has acquired four pharmacies in Belgium. These new units should bring an additional turnover of approximately 5 million euros per year to the company.

These purchases bring to 12 the number of pharmacies already acquired at the end of May by Pharmasimple. A pace that fits, for the company, in the objective of forming a group comprising between 150 and 200 pharmacies within five years.

By combining its expertise in e-commerce with that of pharmacy supply and logistics, Pharmasimple anticipates strong synergies, the benefits of which would allow it to envisage a return to sustainable growth.
