Phasmophobia: Custom mode added in September, new roadmap released

It has been several months since the players of Phasmophobia await the famous update bringing the Custom mode, but also the redesign of the Asylum, Sunny Meadows. The month of August had ended without any news from Kinetic Games, the community was asking some questions about when we could take advantage of these novelties. If no date has been given, the studio has however specified its month of arrival.

The new game mode and the new map will therefore arrive in September, as you might expect. We will also be able to accommodate a reporting system, but also unannounced things. As a reminder, the Custom mode will allow you to create a game according to your desires, by modifying almost all the parameters (difficulty, number of cursed objects, speed, etc.).

In addition to confirming the imminent arrival of the next major update, Kinetic Games has given a new overview of its roadmap for the next few months. So by the end of the year, we should see a revamp of the weather effects, while the progression-oriented update will arrive next year in three parts, to enjoy more regular content. This will also add customization and new equipment. Finally, later in 2023, Phasmophobia’s Biggest Update Yet Will Welcome Horror Mode 2.0.

Finally, Kinetic Games claims that various improvements will also be released between major updates, as always. Waiting, Phasmophobia remains available on PC, in early access. You can take advantage of our guides to get by on your ghost investigation.
