To identify the ghost you are dealing with in Phasmophobia, you will have to use the many tools at your disposal to find the traces, the evidence, that the ghosts leave behind. Fingerprints, a lower temperature or even manifestations through the EMF or the Spirit box are proofs that it is easy to have, as ghost writing. But if you don’t know how it works, here are some pointers.
Ghostly writing in Phasmophobia
To obtain this proof in Phasmophobia, and move forward in your research, you are going to need two essential and mandatory things. The first, and as you might suspect, is to find the room the ghost is in. If you think you have discovered it, then you will have to take the newspaper, located in the truck, if no one on your team has it on him. Next, it must be placed in the roomin a clear place (by pressing the F key, as if to place an object).
Once the book is placed, you will have to ask the ghost to write in the book, or the famous phrase “Give us a sign”. However, don’t expect to see him write right away. It may take a few minutes, and you will then see various drawings appear, with more or less logic, on the notebook. If, after many tries and a long wait, you still have no news, don’t hesitate to move the newspaper.
Finally, continue with your activities, trying to obtain further evidence. It may be that while waiting for a sign from the ghost, you will find the necessary three pieces of evidence confirming that it is this or that ghost. Moreover, if the ghostwriting proof materializes, you can take a photo of the newspaper, in order to have a little more dollars at the end of the game.
